Bayern Munich has contracts with the U-21 national team players Thomas Muller (photo center, front and Franck Ribery) and Holger Badstuber (right) ahead by 30 June 2014 extended.
"Both have made a satisfactory development. They come from the stable of FC Bayern. And we are always interested in keeping players like Lahm, Schweinsteiger, or just Muller and Badstuber here, "said CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
The 20-year-old Mueller and Badstuber have prevailed in this and are under coach Louis van Gaal to become regulars. Even the 32-year-old Daniel van Buyten will remain at Bayern. The contract with the Belgian defender was extended until 2012.
