about “marketing”, the fans and ticket prices
By admin | February 8, 2010
For explanation of recent discussions in two different blogs on "what to do with the fans" decided to make a separate aspect of the separate blog post.
Yes, fans of the movement consists of many components:
- Games, wins, stadiums
- Attributes
- Fan clubs, supported by Club
- Children and Young People Schools
- "Correct" interaction with the press
- And so on, and mn.
But! The main thing and the main purpose of all this: Make it so that people went to the football game.
Recall Ukraine-Greece - half-empty stands. Recall the last match at the Dinamo CHU - half-empty stands. Recall the recent performances at the Olympic Dynamo - half-empty stands.
What happens? The fact that the PR support, paraphernalia, autographs,
chatting with the press is not working as it should be working is clear.
But! Let's go back to basics ... Is it possible for fans to go to the stadium? And if yes - THEY WANT TO DO?
Tickets for the Champions League were from 150grn, and they were few.
Tickets for UL - from 50UAH (if not right - content change).
Can a normal student, working, say the bus driver, engineer, university lecturer, a teacher at the school, doctor, clerk of the state (which is all there and most of the fans) at a salary 1500 4000grn a month to go to these matches?
NO!
When you get 2000grn give a tenth of the salary, which must pay rent, utilities, transportation, perhaps to feed the children, on a football ticket - stupid ....
And if they can "tunnel" - that do not want to:
1) buy a beer and fish and gather in the kitchen is a company 100UAH with the crowd
2) sit in a pub with a projector for Guinness and Bavarian sausages - 300UAH with two ...
(I am the way, or behaving in any way (for 2009y year at the stadium was once), although my level of income in the same order of numbers but in the $.
Fumbled on the Internet - Average ticket for the match of the Bundesliga Bavaria is 20evro. Minimum, mean, 15 euro .. Well, let them in the League even - 50evro. But they also pay a minimum 2000evro, right?
We also 50UAH - Chu, 150grn - UCL, at a salary most of the target audience of 2000 3000grn ..
Do not you find it, disproprotsiya?
Met a totally illogical comments: that is the problem of the state of Ukraine, that we have such low salaries! We must riot, strike and generally raise s / n. I agree that the lift s / n should be, but it is a gradual process that lasted for decades in Europe. Now - we have what we have, and must live starting from the realities. Where is the dynamite? In the state of Ukraine. So this is the problem Dynamo. At the Dynamo do not walk people? So this is a problem, Dynamo, purely marketing illiquidity matches, in fact - provided services, but not a problem the state of Ukraine, or individual citizen. If I start to deliver in Ukraine and sell through supermarkets golf clubs (and their essno no one will buy), I must say that they say the bad state, such a good putter, but no one buys?!? Everything has a price for purchasing ability and competitive environment.
So the price of tickets - too high, because matches - Illiquid.
Change is the only way you can:
1) lower the price of the product
- Matches in the Champions League - from 40grn (for the greater part of the ticket 60 100UAH)
- Matches in UL - from 10-20UAH (for the greater part of the ticket 30-50UAH)
2) to provide advertising in the context of the fact that prices are lowered, to make semiannual PR in the context of the fact that "football is cool"
